Edward Parkerson was born in 1845 in Norfolk, England to Burrell Parkerson and Emma Mount. He was baptized on Apr 29, 1845 at East Dereham, Norfolk, England.[1]
In 1851, his oldest brothers Burrell and Richard immigrated to New Zealand aboard the ISABELLA HERCUS.[2] Edward and the rest of the family followed, arriving on Oct. 18, 1853 aboard the JOHN TAYLOR.[3]
He married 1) Ada Jane Mount Newman in 1876 in New Zealand. [4] Ada died in 1879.
He married 2) Eleanor Bouchier (Cowley) Wilson in 1900.[5] Together they became the parents of Emma Dorothy Parkerson, Edith Elizabeth Parkerson, and Eleanor Cowley Parkerson.
Edward died in 1922 in Otago, New Zealand[6] and was buried at Barbadoes Street Cemetery in Christchurch, Christchurch City, Canterbury, New Zealand.
