Biography

John Munson was born on 18 Oct 1797 in Hebron, Washington, New York, United States, the son of John Munson (1772 - 1851) and Sally Darrow (1774 - 1815).^[1]

He was still living in his father's household in 1820, one of the three males "over fifteen and under twenty-six" in that census.^[2]

John married Harriet Meeker (1800 - 1833) on 4 Dec 1823 in Sandgate, Bennington, Vermont, United States.^[1] Their children were:

1. John Phineas Munson
2. Leroy Munson
3. Julius Munson

In 1830, they had moved to Caledonia, Livingston, New York. They had lost their son Julius before the time of the census.^[3]

Harriett died on 22 September 1833 in Caledonia, and John died six weeks later, on 7 Nov 1833.^[1]
