Biography

Mary, the daughter of John Millar, was born 1767 in Perthshire, Scotland. She came from Perthshire to Isle of St John in 1770. William Simpson and Mary Miller were married 13 Feb 1790 in Covehead, Queens, Isle of St John, Nova Scotia by Rev. Theophilus DesBrisay. [1] [2] They resided in Cavendish in Lot 23 in April 1798. There may have been a infant death, as some records indicate two daughters named Elizabeth. [3] Mary died 22 Feb 1852 in Cavendish, Queens, Prince Edward Island. [4]

Died, on the 22nd ae 85, Mary, relic of William Simpson, Native of Perthshire, Emig. 1770. [5]

She was buried in Cavendish Center Cemetery, Cavendish, Prince Edward Island. [6]
