Biography
John MacRob is a member of Clan Gunn.
John McRob was the second son of Robert, who was killed with his father, George the Crowner at the Battle of the Champions, between the Gunns and the Keiths. This was either 1478 or 1464, depending on the source. So John must have been born before 1478.
John MacRob had three sons, Alex, John, and George. His descendants were frequently called Robson or MacRob.
