Dist 043/1 cert.#134 shows Margaret Rosie married to William Rosie, died of typhus fever of 10 days duration, as cert. by E S Sinclair, surgeon, at midnight aged 67. D/o Robert Macadie farmer, & Margaret m.s. Sinclair (both dec.) Inf. brother George McAdie of Hillhead, present. Reg 20th ^[2]

NB Original information was that the informant for the dth of Margaret (married to William Rosie) was her brother Joseph. No sign of his existence other than this could be found in census or death or parish records. Mystery solved when a copy of the dth cert was checked, I read the informant as brother George, of Hillhead. (LIH Mah 2006)
