Rebecca (Keller) Pennington, 91, passed away peacefully on 6 March 1915 at Plainfield, Will, Illinois. She was born on 20 December 1823 at Centre Hall, Centre, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Christian Keller, 1788-1831 and Catharine (Henney) Keller, 1791-1851. She married James Watson Pennington in about 1842.
Mrs. Pennington was survived by: her children, Anna Elizabeth (Pennington) Laydon, b. 1856; Robert Pennington, b. 1857; Leah (Pennington) Reay, b. 1859; Emma Corbin (Pennington) Bill, b. 1864; Rebecca Helen (Pennington) Wilson, b. 1866; Lucy L. (Pennington) Snure, b. 1869; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, James, 1822-1889; children, Catherine Ellen Pennington, unknown-1843; John David Pennington, unknown-1849; William Pennington, 1846-1859; Criston Keller Pennington, 1847-1898; James Bryson Pennington, 1850-1893; Sarah N. Pennington, 1853-1864; Margret (Pennington) Laydon, 1854-1911; Infant Twin Boy Pennington, and Infant Twin Girl Pennington, both 1861-1861; Agnes Pennington, 1868-1871; and siblings, William Keller, 1812-1870; John H. Keller, 1813-1895; Elizabeth (Keller) Alexander, 1815-1884; Sarah Ann (Keller) Pennington, 1817-1850; and Catherine (Keller) Boozer, 1818-1902.
