Biography
Christian Doester Keller, 42 years, 11 months, 7 days, passed away on 12 August 1831 at Potter, Centre, Pennsylvania. He was born on 9 September 1788 at Bethel, Lebanon, Pennsylvania, the second of four children of John Jacob Keller, 1753-1828 and Elizabeth (Doester) Keller 1756-1839. He married Miss Catharine Henney in about 1811.
Mr. Keller was survived by: his mother, Elizabeth; wife, Catharine, b. 1791; children, William Keller, b. 1812; John H. Keller, b. 1813; Elizabeth (Keller) Alexander, b. 1815; Sarah Ann (Keller) Pennington, b. 1817; Catherine (Keller) Boozer, b. 1818; Rebecca (Keller) Pennington, b. 1823; siblings, John Keller, Sr. b. 1781; Peter Keller, b. 1790; Jacob Keller, b. 1803; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, John.
Christian is buried at the Emmanuel Union Cemetery, Tusseyville, Centre, Pennsylvania. The Findagrave memorial ID is 72709945.
