Biography

John Henney Keller, 81, passed away peacefully on 9 June 1895 at Centre Hall, Centre, Pennsylvania. He was born on 2 September 1813 at Potter, Centre, Pennsylvania, the second of six children of Christian Keller, 1788-1831 and Catharine (Henney) Keller, 1791-1851. He married Miss Rachel Alexander in 1838.

Mr. Keller was survived by: his children, Katherine "Kate" (Keller) Conley, b. 1840; James A. Keller, b. 1843; siblings, Catherine (Keller) Boozer, b. 1818; Rebecca (Keller) Pennington, b. 1823; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Rachel, 1813-1878; daughter, Margaret "Maggie" Elizabeth (Keller) Murray, 1846-1871; and siblings, William Keller, 1812-1870; Elizabeth (Keller) Alexander, 1815-1884; and Sarah Ann (Keller) Pennington, 1817-1850.

John is buried at the Reformed and Lutheran Cemetery, Centre Hall, Centre, Pennsylvania. The Findagrave memorial ID is 206143349.
