Biography

Georgiene I. Wagner, 72, of Glendon Borough, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2009 in Slate Belt Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born: March 26, 1937, in Wind Gap, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Sr. and Fay Frantz Herritt. Personal: She and her husband, Clarence D. Wagner, Sr., would have celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on November 7th. Georgiene graduated from Wilson High School. She last worked for Supervalue. Previously she was employed by Easton Packing Co. and Weller Electric. Georgiene enjoyed camping with friends and watching football, especially the Philadelphia Eagles. She was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. Memberships: She was a former member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Survivors: In addition to her husband, Clarence; are two sons, Clarence Wagner, Jr. and his wife Kathleen and Jeff Wagner and his wife, Lisa, all of Easton; three daughters, Gwen Van Syckle, of Lakeland, FL, Davene Cartagena, of Phillipsburg and Marsha Rohn and her husband David, of Pen Argyl; two brothers, Arthur Herritt, Jr., of Jacksonville, NC and Jerry Herritt, of California; three sisters, Marlene Christian and Penny Harrison, both of Easton and Bonnie Siefert, of Joes, CO; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. A son-in-law, Donald Van Syckle, died earlier. ^[1][2]
