The William born to George GRAHAM of Firbank and Easet CARRUTHERS of Stagmire in 1791 is assumed to be the William GRAHAM married to Jane FERGUSON having children in Kirklinton. This id is mainly because of the several descendants named Easet, and because William & Jane's daughter Easet is living with grdmother Easet GRAHAM nee CARRUTHERS in 1841 (as a Female.Servant). Additional corroboration being provided by an executor of William's will being described as George Graham "of Firbank, the nephew", where there's a handy son of William's brother Richard living at the time.
Alternate suggestions have been: - that he married Jane ARMSTRONG (as William CARRUTHERS), but I think he's a bit older, and more likely to be the son of Robert & Margaret CARRUTHERS - that he was the William CARRUTHERS married to Hannah DUERS. This one is of the right age and has a connection to Boghall via his wife's family
