Research Notes
A previous interpretation that Jane died 27 FEB 1875, Ulverstone, Tasmania, Australia[10] is in doubt.
This being because I cannot verify it, the date is exactly that of the birth of Jane's niece Jane, dtr of Thomas and Jane (McCulloch) Duncanson, and because of DNA matches between two distant cousins descendants of Archibald Henderson and Margaret McEwan and of a Jane Dunkinson/Duncanson who fits the bill for this Jane, apart from a distinct lack of detail on certs. as to her parents.
However the link is believed to be contained on Jane's marriage cert. to George Kay. It shows that the marriage took place at the house of Mrs Duncanson, River Leven and is rather likely to be the M Duncanson witness to the marriage..

Duncanson-221 and Duncanson-74 appear to represent the same person because: we agree on details of birth/death/husbands and I've convinced myself Jane marr. Faulkner/Kay can indeed be linked to M(ary) Duncanson (see Research notes)
