Biography

Walter Davidson was born in Lancashire, England.

Walter was born in Bolton, Lancashire, England, on November 9, 1909. ^[1] He was the son of Daniel Davidson and Florence Court. He was baptized on December 3, 1911, in Fazackerley (Liverpool) at Emmanuel Church.^[2] The Parish Register stated his date of birth as November 9, 1909, his parents as Daniel and Florence residing at 22 Kingwood Avenue and that his father was deceased. His father had passed away in February 1911. Walter was enumerated in the 1911 census ^[3] in the household of maternal uncle Alfred Bransby Court at 27 Higher Lancashire, Fazakerley, Liverpool. Walter's brother James also at residence.

Walter appeared in the 1939 Register ^[4] residing at 22 Kingswood Avenue, Liverpool, with his mother and sister Helena. His occupation "Clerk" (Wholesale Chemicals). (Note...his date of birth was listed as 9 Nov 1920 not 1909).

Walter passed away in 1971. ^[5] He was buried on April 27th in Liverpool at Anfield Cemetery, Section 17, Grave 3507.^[6] He was sixty one.
