James Davidson was born in Lancashire, England.

James was born in Liverpool, Lancashire, England, on January 2, 1898. [1] He was the son of Daniel Davidson and Florence Court. He was baptized on January 23, 1898, in Liverpool at St Catherine, Edge Hill.[2] According to the Parish Register, [3] James was the son of Daniel and Florence residing at 73 Grantham Street. Father Daniel's occupation "Advertising Inspector". James was enumerated in the 1901 census [4] as a two year old residing with his parents and one month old sister Lucy at 52 Habord Street, Edge Hill (Liverpool). James' father passed away in February, 1911. James was enumerated in the 1911 census [5] residing with maternal uncle Alfred Court at 27 Higher Lancashire, Fazakerley, Liverpool.

James passed away in 1915. [6] He was buried on May 26th in Liverpool at Anfield Cemetery, Section 17 Grave 3504.[7] He was seventeen.
