Research notes
My interest
I'm documenting this family because of a triangulated set of DNA matches[5] to descendants of Jeannie's sons Thomas and Robert, to several of my 2nd and 3rd cousins who share James Henderson and Amelia Millar. So somewhere back up the ancestry of one each of the two pairs of ancestors is a common ancestor, who has to be a clue to one or other of my brickwalls!
Another segment [6]is a triangulated match to the above two families, and also triangulated with descendants of Peter Junkine/Jenkins & Jean McNie
My working assumption is that it is back up Jeannie's mother's ancestryHenderson-2297 04:27, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
Exactly where was the marriage?
1867 marriage took place at ?Gartegise? which is where? I cannot turn it into Gartness unless n is written with a large tail below the line!
