George Broomfield was born in Lyndhurst, Hampshire, England.

George was born in 1880 in New Forest, Hampshire, England.[1] He was the son of Charles Broomfield and Lucy Stote.

The 1881 England and Wales Census shows George living with his parents and six siblings in Lyndhurst, Hampshire, England.[2] He was one year old.

The 1891 England and Wales Census shows George living with his parents, seven siblings and uncle in Emery Down, Lyndhurst, Hampshire, England.[3] He was 11 years old.

The 1901 England and Wales Census shows George living with his parents and five siblings in Emery Down, Lyndhurst, Hampshire, England.[4] He was 21 years old and was working as a Bricklayers Labourer.

George's father Charles passed away in 1908 in Fareham, Hampshire, England. He was 68 years old.

The 1911 England and Wales Census shows George living with his mother, two siblings and sister-in-law in Lyndhurst, Hampshire, England.[5] He was 31 years old and was working as a Bricklayer.

In 1911 George married Lily Emily Holley in Lymington, Hampshire, England.[6] He was 31 years old.

In 1915 George served in the 4th Battalion of the Hampshire Regiment.[7]

George passed away in 1959 in New Forest, Hampshire, England.[8] He was 79 years old.
