Biography
James Brims was born about January 1836 and was baptised at the Watten parish kirk on 6 March 1836.[1]
In 1841 James was living in Knapperfield, in the parish of Watten, Caithness, on the family farm with his parents and siblings Mary, Elizabeth, George, Peter and Alexander.[2]
In 1851 James was living on the family farm in Knapperfield, Watten.[3]
