Biography

Joseph Brain is one of twins.

Joseph Thompson d'Arcy Brain was born on 2 June 1915 in Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand, son of Cornelius d'Arcy Brain (1892–1965) and Eunice Thompson (1889–1969).^[1]

He married Mabel Eunice King (1913-1997) on 10 April 1937 and they had five children.^[2][3]

Joseph died on 9 September 1976 in Oamaru, Otago, aged 61. He was buried in Ōamaru Old Cemetery, Ōamaru, Waitaki District, Otago.^[1]
