Biography
William Bennett was the first child born to Alexander and Ann Bennett, being born in Gravesend, Kent in 1770, and baptised on 27th January 1770, at St Peter and St Paul's church, Milton, Gravesend, Kent. [1]
We can't be certain of a date of death for William, as no ages at death were shown in the burial registers, but he was almost certainly dead before 1783, when his brother William Thomas Bennett was born.
A burial in Gravesend, St George, for a William Bennett, on 27 February 1779, seems the most likely[2]
