Biography
Agnes was born in 1855. She was the daughter of William Bain and Eliza Blackstock. [1]
In her mother's will 1887, Agnes Roleston was said to be living at Keady, County Armagh. This was where her mother's family was from.
On 25th March 1880 Agnes Bayne of Tamlaghtmore, father William Bayne, farmer, married Robert Hastings Roleston, grocer, of Cookstown, father Robert Roleston, farmer, at 2nd Presbyterian Church Moneymore. The witnesses were John Bayne and John W. Sharpe. [2]
In 1901 the Roleston family were living in Castlereagh Road, Pottinger, Co Down, Robert Hastings Roleston 48, grocer, born Middleton, Co Armagh, Agnes 41 born Cookstown Co Tyrone, Albert 19, born Banbridge, Co Tyrone, grocer, William 17 Loughgall, Co Armagh, clerk, Lilly 14 Keady, Co Armagh, and Fred 9, born Keady Co Armagh. [3]
