I was born in Northern Ireland, though I grew up in England. I spent many a childhood holiday staying with grandparents and aunts, or “going to the Port”.
In fact I started my first version of "My Tree" whilst staying with my granny.... and I still have that teenage paper tree written in ink pen with some mistakes.
My tree grows slowly, though there are always interesting leads to follow…
My current CC7 number 417 (July 2022), now 813 (December 2022), 1216 (Jan 2024)

Welcome to WikiTree. We are so happy you decided to upgrade to the Family Member level.
Please visit our tutorial pages to learn how to use WikiTree: How To Use WikiTree. They will save you time, energy, and frustration as you add your family profiles.
Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.
Questions? You can always use the G2G link in the Help Menu to find answers.
