John was named in his father's Will, of 16 July 1751, and he was named Executor. His father passed away in 1755.[4]
According to Alfred Poor's Genealogy (referenced below), John never married. However, it is now believed that he is the same "John Bailey" that married Abigail Haseltine in Bradford on 1 Oct. 1751.[5][6] This latter couple had a daughter Abigail born on 11 July 1753 and died in Bradford on 9 Aug. 1754.[7]
John passed away in 1760, at the age of 45. He was buried in the Ancient Burying Ground of Bradford.[8][9]
