Biography
Leslie Agnew was born in 1900 at Takapuna, Auckland, New Zealand. He was the son of Gordon Agnew and Letitia Morrison.[1]
Leslie Agnew married Linda Wilson on 11 Sep 1929 at North Rd, Feilding, Rangitikei, New Zealand.[2] They had five children.
Leslie Agnew died in 1977 at New Plymouth, Taranaki.[3] A Death Notice was published in the New Plymouth Daily News:[4]
- AGNEW, Leslie (Les), ---At Taranaki Base Hospital, New Plymouth, on Wednesday, June 15, 1977, dearly loved husband of Linda Agnew (Okato), also loved father and father-in-law of Shirley and Nick Lykles (New Plymouth), Murray and Colleen (Rai Valley), Barry and Teresa (Pihama), Ray (Manaia), David (Otakeho), loved grandad of all his grand-children; in his 77th year.

- A service will be held at our chapel, 257 Devon Street East, New Plymouth, on Saturday, June 18, 1977 at 11.30 a.m.
