Also the Maritie/Mareitje/Maria Deyo currently listed as a wife to two different Jeremiah's. I think I've figured out who goes with whom, but would appreciate someone else taking a look. My ancestry thru lines (which I know are not proof) came through strongly supporting the following: Salomon (b 1725), son Jeremiah (born 1761), son Samuel(1790). However, the sources I can find and timeframes seem to support Salomon, Son Martinus (b 1747), Son Jeremiah, and then Samuel (1805). The two Jeremiahs are : 1) Jeremiah married to Hannah Elsworth who had a daughter Apolonia in 1799. 2) Jeremiah "Jr"married to Mareitje Deyo, who had a daughter Catherine in 1799. Both Jeremiahs are listed adjacent to each other on a Kingston Baptismal record so they are NOT one person with two subsequent wives. Mareitje's husband, who is listed as "Junior" which would seem to indicate he is younger, (I can find NO father/son Jeremiah combination in the Eckerts of the time). Apolonia was the 5th child of Jeremiah and Hanna Elsworth. Catherine was the first in the Jeremia & Marietje family. One of these two Jeremiah's was born in 1761 and is the son of Salomon Eckert, the other in 1770. Need some other eyes to look at this and tell me what you think please.
