I have a dna match on FTDNA Big-Y with C.MacDonald. One of his ancestors on the Y-line is Donald MacDonald living 1775-1852 probably from Scotland/UK-area.

Does anybode have further information?

Hi, the closest result I found to the person you're searching for is this one

I'm not sure it's the right Donald though as that name and surname are extremely common in Scotland
