Biography

Roger was born in 1695 and passed away on 23 May 1768.[1]

Roger married Hannah Mulford before March 1725 when their first child was born. She was the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Bassett) Mulford, born 05 September 1698 in Eastham, and died on 25 June 1796 in her 98th year in Chatham and was buried there.[2]

Roger was named in his father, John King's will in 1752.[2] Roger's own will was dated at Harwich 08 March 1768 and proved 08 July 1768, and mentioned his wife Hannah, widowed daughter Hannah Freeman, daughter Zilpha Kinwrick, heirs of daughter Thankful Yates, son Nathaniel, and grandson Roger King. On 9 August 1768, John Yates was named guardian of his children John, Reliance and Mary, in the right of their grandfather Roger King.[2]

Hi, FYI-Roger was born in 1695 (ref: Mayflower births and deaths, vol. 1 & 2 and also Web: MA find a Grave Index). He died in 1786 in Harwich and was buried in Brewster, Barnstable, MA in the Old Burying Ground, Plot 155. FAG #46636415. Do you want me to add his headstone for you?
