Cyrenius Beers was born 1 June 1813 at Newtown, Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States, died 25 Feb 1878 at Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, USA,^[1] son of Samuel Beers and Rissa Hard; married 7 Oct 1838 at Newtown, Fairfield Co. Conn. to Mary Curtis,^[2] born 19 June 1816 at Newtown, Fairfield County, Connecticut, died 8 Oct 1869, daughter of Gould Curtiss Jr. (1787–1858) and Joanna (Peck) Curtis (1788–1860); buried at Rosehill Cemetery and Mausoleum, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, USA.^[3]
