I have a very hard to track ancestor by the name of Thomas W. Martin, born in Claiborne Country Mississippi in Mar 1847 to unknown parents. His father was born in Georgia and his mother Mississippi according to census records.
The fist census record I find him on he was living in Blackfish Crittenden Arkansas in 1860 listed as 12. Living N. C. Bridges (43yrs Ohio born) and Mary A. Bridges ( Mississippi born 35yrs). The census states the couple was married within the year. It logical to consider Mary A. Is Thomas's widow mother. I can't find a marriage record for them but it would of happened between Claiborne Mississippi and Arkansas.
