• Dies Two Days After Her Husband

Following the death of Frederick William Woollard, of Brighton road, Brighton, on August 18, from blood poisoning following a cut while employed by South Austra lian Portland Cement Co., Ltd., his widow. Hilda May Woollard, died two days later. As a result. Queenie Constance Charlotte Weaver, of Cecelia street, Brighton. a daughter, was granted £200 compensation, less £717/ cost, payable by agreement to the widow for Woollard's death. The order was made by Acting Judge Hias!am in the Local Court today. Mr.,K. L. Litchfleld, for the ap plicant. said' that Woollard's com pensation was limited to £250 by agreement.. His widow was the sole dependent, but there was some doubt whether she was totally de pendent on her husband, and com pensation had been agreed at £200. Mrs. Weaver had been granted letters of administration of both estates.
