Parents James Woods and Sarah Ballantyne, he was born about 1833 in County Armagh, Ireland and in 1851 he lived Mullalelish, Kilmore Parish, Oneilland West Barony, County Armagh, Ireland, age 18. He was living with his parents James Woods and Sarah Woods (nee Ballantyne) with siblings John (21), Jane (15), James William (12), Isaac (4) & Martha (8) [1]

Andrew Woods. weaver from Mullalelish, married Margaret Mallon from Ballymagerny, both full age, on 3 October 1856 at Drumcree Parish Church, Lurgan, County Armagh, Ireland. [2] Drumcree is a parish in the union of Lurgan, barony of O'Nielland West. Fathers James Woods (weaver) and John Mallon (Blacksmith). Witnesses John Woods (Brother?) and ? Grigg. [3][4] [5]

On 30 March 1870, when son Robert was born, the Woods family lived in Tandragee, County Armagh, Ireland

In 1872 the Woods family lived in Tanderagee, Ballymore, County Armagh, Ireland where Samuel was born.

They lived in the Kilmore Civil Parish. (Barony: Oneilland West, Orior Lower; Poor Law Union: Armagh, Banbridge; Catholic Diocese: Armagh; Catholic Parish: Kilmore (Mullavilly); Presbyterian Congregations: Ahorey, Keady 1st/The Temple, Richill) This parish is partly in the barony of LOWER ORIOR, but chiefly in that of O'NEILLAND WEST, county of ARMAGH, and province of ULSTER, on the road from Armagh to Belfast.

The Woods family moved [6] to Cornascreeb, Mullahead, Armagh, Ireland at similar time as neighbour, Rose (nee Kelly) Mallon [7]

On 20 March 1880, when daughter Sophia was born the Woods family lived in Cornascriebe, County Armagh, Ireland

On 31 March 1901, aged 67, he lived in Cornascrieb, Mullahead, Armagh, Ireland, Head of House; Church of Ireland; Carpenter; Widower; Living with daughters Elizabeth (23) & Sophia (21) and granddaughter Jane Woods (14)[8]

He passed away on 22 August 1905 at Cornascreeb, Mullahead, County Armagh, Ireland, age 59, a Widower & a Carpenter. Daughter Sophia was present at his death. [9]
