Biography
Caroline was born in 1842. She was the daughter of Lester Wood and Eliza Dewey.
In 1850, she was living in Harmony, Vernon, Wisconsin with her stepbrother Philander and her brother Milton. The adjacent household was her stepfather Jonathan Wood and her mother Eliza (Dewey) Wood.[1]
She married Thomas Edward Stevenson on 06 Dec 1863 in Harmony, Vernon, Wisconsin.[2] The transcribed marriage record lists her father as Lester Wood and mother as Elijah [Eliza] Wood. They had children.
They were living in Vernon county, Wisconsin in 1870.[3] They were in Hamburgh, Vernon, Wisconsin in 1880.[4] The 1880 household included her seven children and her mother Eliza (Dewey) Wood.
They moved to Coffey county, Kansas. They were in Waverly, Coffey, Kansas in 1900 and 1910.[5][6]
Thomas died in 1915.
In 1920, she was living in Waverly with daughter Bernice (Stevenson) Lathrom and son Milton Wood Stevenson.
She passed away in 1923 in Waverly, Coffey, Kansas.[7]
