James Mosley Wolfe was born on February 9, 1852, in Missouri, United States, son of Eli William Wolfe (~1820–1873) and Cynthia Ann Schooling (1811–~1864). [1]

In 1870, James was living in Township 16 Range 1, Pulaski, Illinois. [2]

James (20) married Mary Caroline Stanley (20) (born on February 18, 1852, in Tazewell, Illinois) on July 28, 1872, in Pulaski. [3] [4]

James died on June 2, 1932, in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma, United States, aged 80. He was buried in Antlers City Cemetery, Antlers, Oklahoma. [9]
