Please do not reattach this Robert without soild proof as the child of Thomas without source other than Herndon's unsupported statement.
- Robert Wingfield only appears once in the St. Peter's Vestry book (p. 443) with this reference in the death of Moses Stegall: " Deceas 19 Aug 1721 To charge to Rob. Wingfield".

Wit: James Mayo, Sr., Robert Mayo, Jacob Mayo. Rcd. 24 Aug 1769. I have tried to find a photo of Robert's will, (Cty. Lou, Book: 2, Page: 61, Robert Wingfield, Type: Will, Date: 24-Aug-1769 but i can't find it, i did find a photo his son Matthew Wingfield will but the page number was wrong.[1]
