Biography
Josephine (Williams) Barnhill is a part of US Black heritage.
Josephine Williams was born about 1899. She was the daughter of James Williams and Maggie Marris (or Morris.)[1]
In 1914, she married Lonnie Cornelius Barnhill.[2]
She died of tuberculosis in 1926.[1]
Research Notes
Not sure why her LNAB is "Staton" on so many records. There is a social security claim which includes her - she died in 1926 and wouldn't have had a social security number or even been alive at the time of the roll-out for SS. The claim appears to be for a son - Howard Clinton Barnhill. The original record is not available for review, but the son's family may have put Staton on this Social Security record?
