Biography
Winnifred Wilder was born about 1792 in Wilkes County, Georgia, a daughter of Malachi Wilder and Rachel McCullars Wilder.
Winnifred married Valentine Mayo on the 19th of December, 1813 in Hancock County, Georgia.[1]
Their known children were:[2]
- Williamson Mayo (c.1815-)
- William Mayo (c.1817-)
- Willie Mayo (c.1819- 1864)
Winnifred's exact date of death is unknown, but she died sometime before 1825. Winnifred is not named in the 1825 will of her mother, Rachel Wilder McCullars, but Winnifred's children are named in the will along with Rachel's other children.[3]
