Miss Laura H White wed Oscar A Stevenson November 22, 1891 in Chatooga County, Georgia as seen in an image of the original marriage register.^[1]

Laura H Stephenson was enumerated as wife of the head of household in Militia District 853, North Carolina, Floyd County, Georgia for the June 5, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born June 1870 in Georgia and had been married nine years. She was the mother of four children of which all were still living as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Oscar Stephenson, son Alonzo Stephenson, son Gilbert W Stephenson, daughter Janie L Stephenson, daughter Millie B Stephenson and servant Joe Perkins.^[2]

Laura White was listed as the mother of Alonzo Park Stephenson who died October 17, 1946 in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee. The father was listed as Oscar Stephenson and the wife Edna Stephenson.^[3]

White was listed as the mother of Gilbert W. Stephenson who died February 4, 1966 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama. The father was listed as Oscar Stephenson and the wife Wylodine K. Stephenson.^[4]
