He was noted as born March 1870 in Georgia as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male Eli Stephenson, female Mary Stephenson and male James Stephenson.^[1]

Oscar Stephenson was enumerated as son at Dirt Town, Chattooga County, Georgia for the June 11, United States Census, 1880. He was noted as at home, born 1870 in Georgia and single as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are self Eli Stephenson, wife Mary R Stephenson, son Grissum Stephenson, son Judson Stephenson, son William Stephenson, daughter Alice Stephenson and daughter Annie Stephenson.^[2]

He was noted as born 1871 in Georgia and married. He was an owner and a farmer as seen in the image of the original census. 1927 Georgia, Death

Oscar Stephenson was listed as the father of Alonzo Park Stephenson who died October 17, 1946 in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee. The mother was listed as Laura White and the wife Edna Stephenson.^[7]

Oscar Stephenson was listed as the father of Gilbert W. Stephenson who died February 4, 1966 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama. The mother was listed as White and the wife Wylodine K. Stephenson.^[8]

Oscar Stephenson is buried at South Carolina Campground Cemetery in Holland, Chattooga County, Georgia.^[9]
