Biography
Sarah was born about 1863 in the Township of Wales, St Clair county, Michigan, United States of America. She was the daughter of John West and Isabella Holmes.
The family lived in Wales in 1870;[1] Sarah's father died in 1873 and was buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Wales.[2]
At the time of the 1880 census, Sarah carried out housework for the Sanderson family in Riley, St Clair.[3]
