Death
Abraham Wesson died at Livermore, Maine (then in Massachusetts) in June 1800. Based on the descriptions of his daughters and their spouses in the 1874 history of Livermore, he is undoubtedly the "Mr. Weston" whose death was described in an 1873 memoir by a Thomas Chase. According to this memoir, Mr. Weston had a farm on the east side of the Androscoggin River about a mile below the Livermore Falls, and he was killed along with another man, Eliphelet Rowell, by a tree thet fell the wrong way during a "falling bee."[3] Eliphelet Rowell's gravestone gives his date of death as June 1800.[4]
