Margaret Wemyss, daughter of James Wemyss, Lord Burntisland and Margaret Wemyss, Countess of Wemyss was baptised in the parish of Wemyss, Fife on 12 April 1677. ^[1][2]

Margaret Wemyss married David Carnegie, 4th Earl of Northesk on 29 January 1697 in the parish of Wemyss, Fife.^[3]

Margaret died on 29 March 1763 and was buried at Restalrig on 1 April 1763.^[4]
