"Wells Cemetery is located on top of the Bluff on what was formerly the Richard Kerr farm in sections 7 and 8, Pleasant Hill township, Pike County, Illinois. The entrance is on HWY 96, west of Six Mile Creek and about 2 miles north west of the center of the town.
of Pleasant Hill. This list made 1975 by W.C. and Vivian lewis and Guy and Fay Gray. It is said that the first burial there was of a transient that became sick and died at the Kerr home.".
