Joane, daughter of Thoms Walshe, was baptised on 26 March 1587.[1]

8 Feb 1607/8: marriage to Thos Dyke Gent of Frant; she is spinster, daughter of Thomas Walshe, gent of Horeham, Sussex wco Margery Walshe, wife of the said Thomas and mother of Joan(e); Sponsors ss: Thomas Mysson glo Heathfield & Goddard Broade Lewes

1615 PCC will of father-in-law Thomas Dyke refers to his son Thomas Dyke the younger the husband of this Joane Walshe or Welche

16th Oct 1632: she writes her will as Joane Dike widow of Horeham, Waldron mentioning: her eldest son Herbert & youngest son Thomas; 4 daughters: Margery, Judith, Elizabeth & Sarah; executors: cousin/kinsman Thomas Scott of Hawkhurst & friend Mr John Giles preacher & minister of Ninfield, Sussex; overseers: brothers{-in-law} Mr John Dike of London, merchant & Mr William Dike minister of Frant; her annuity out of land called Mackeley in the parishes of Warbleton, Herstmonceux, Heathfield

1 Jan 1632/3: she died at Horeham, Waldron in the 46th year of her age (=45y+) Mrs Joane Dyne widow & was buried on the 3rd at All Saints Waldron

5 Feb 1632/3: her will is proved at the PCC London on the oaths of executors John Giles & Thomas Scott
