George was born about 1852. He was the son of George Wallace and Margaret Gordon.
In the 1871 census George (age 15) was in Reach, York, Ontario, Canada.[1]
George (age 28), son of George Wallace & Margaret Gordon, married Mary E Western (age 28) on 25 June 1884 in Mariposa, Victoria, Ontario, Canada.[2]
George's son Frederick Western Wallace was born on 14 June 1885 in Ontario, Canada.[3]
At the time of the 1911 census, George was living at lot 15, concession XIII, Reach, Ontario with his wife Margaret and his children Robert (17), Lizzie (15) and Ellen (13). He was a farmer. The census record gives his date of birth as March 1852.[4]
