1710: Arrival in New York

The (large) family of Maria Catharina Walborn originated in the NY Palatine colony. Maria Catarina migrated to Tulpehocken with her family, via Swartara Creek, already around 1723 (when she was about 14y).

1723: Johan Adam Walborn (~1666-1741) and his wife Anna Elizabeth Zietz (1668-1741) arrived in Tulpehocken with their children:

24 Feb 1730. Baptism of Maria Catharina Loesch at Reed's Church in Tulpehocken^[9]. Sponsor was Maria Catharina Schell. NOTE: this date is 8 months before Maria Catharina married Peter Schell. The father of this Peter Schell was also named Peter, and his mother was also named Maria Catharina. Thus, it is likely that the sponsor of the Loesch baptism in Feb 1730 was the mother-in-law to the person in this profile.
