Biography

Henrietta was born in 1830. She was the daughter of Richard Wainwright and Maria Auchmuty.^[1][2] Henrietta married William Webb Follett Synge in 1853 at the District of Columbia.^[3] William died in 1891.^[4] Henrietta died in 1921 at age 90.^[5]

Henrietta and William had five children:

1. Robert Follet Synge, born 8 December 1853^[6][7]
2. Maria Montresor Auchmuty Synge, born 1854,^[8] died November 1895^[9]
3. Francis Julian Synge, born 1856, died 1938^[10][11]
4. Gilbert Hugo Follett Synge, born 24 March 1858,^[12] died 18 March 1868^[13]
5. William Makepeace Thackery Synge, born 5 August 1860,^[14] died 13 April 1929^[15]
