Biography

Mary was born about 1805. She passed away in 1852.

According to the Welsh historian, Maxwell Fraser, who published several papers on the history of the Hall family, Mary was the daughter of John Wade of Mortimer's Cross. Around the time of her birth there is a John Wade of Lucton, a hamlet just north of Mortimer's Cross, who would seem to be the most likely candidate to be her father.

According to the 1851 census she was 46 living in Walcot, Somerset, England. She was buried on 8 January 1852 at Bathampton, Somerset, England, United Kingdom at which time she lived at 19 Grosvenor Pl. Bathampton. (Bathampton is just north of Walcot. Grosvenor Place could be said to be in either of those suburbs of Bath.) She is buried in Grave B.135 in Bathhampton.
