Luther Vandross was an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He received eleven consecutive Platinum albums and eight Grammy Awards.[1]
Luther Ronzoni Vandross was born on April 20, 1951 in Manhattan, New York, the son of Luther Vandross and Mary Ida Shields.
He was never married and had no children.
Luther died July 1, 2005 and is buried in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, Bergen County, New Jersey, USA.[2]
