Mary (___) married Nathan Aldus by 1623, when their daughter Marie was baptized. Her husband Nathan was baptized at Dennington, Suffolk, England on September 17, 1592, son of Francis Aldus and Sarah Gooch. [1]
The family resided at Fressingfield, Suffolk until May, 1635, when the tax records show Nathan Aldus 'is gone out of town'. In Nathan's brother John's will of July 26, 1639, Nathan and his heirs were left L three score, transported over the sea at the next opportunity. [1]
Nathan was admitted to the church at Dedham on February 11, 1639/40, and Mary, wife of brother Aldus was admitted on March 11, 1640/1. [1]
Nathan died at Dedham on March 15, 1675/6. [1] Mary was granted administration of his estate and presented the inventory, assessed at L112: 9 on April 20, 1676. [2]
His widow Mary died there on January 1, 1676/7. [1]
