Biography

Mary Elvira Tucker was born on June 29, 1830 in Lafayette, Allen, Ohio, United States, daughter of Lemuel Tucker (1804–1888) and Mariah Walton (1806–1895).

Mary (19) married Daniel Peter Wilkins Ranes (20) (born on August 30, 1828 in Putnam, Ohio; son of William Pendleton Ranes and Elizabeth Thomas) on August 19, 1849 in Allen County, Ohio.^[1][2]

20 years old Mary and her husband appears in the 16th of August 1850 in Auglaize, Allen, Ohio, United States^[3] with one two months old baby named William. They were surrounded by Ranes/Raines neighbors.

By the 29th of August 1870 Monroe Township, Putnam, Ohio census ^[4], Mary was a 39 years old mother of a one month old newborn unnamed male infant that was born in May of 1870. Altogether there were eight living children.
