Mary (12) married John Hamilton Spencer (14) (born on June 5, 1863 in Mace County OH; son of William Appleton Spencer and Derinda Ellen (Combs) Spencer) in 1878 in Putnam County. Their children were:
- Flora Audra Spencer (1889–1968)
- Ross Hamilton Spencer (1891–1976)
- Alta Eldora Spencer (1893–1983)
- Roy Augustus Spencer (1894–1923)
- Harris Edwin Spencer (1899–1900)
Mary died on September 15, 1936 in Bloomington, McLean, Illinois, United States, aged 70. She was buried in North Mount Zion Cemetery, Continental, Putnam County, Ohio.[1]
