Biography

Sarah was born in Alvechurch in Worcestershire and baptised there on 2 May 1756.^[1] She was the fourth of Lewis and Sarah Trueman’s five children.

At the age of 19 years, Sarah married 23 year old John Perry in her parish of Alvechurch on 13 November 1775.^[2] She was married by banns on the same day as her brother Lewis. They subsequently went on to have 3 children together - two boys and one girl.

Sarah later moved to Bromsgrove, a town about 6 miles away, where she died in 1829. She was buried at the age of 73 years on 10 May 1829.^[3]
